Newsletter signup form in ExpressionEngine

Sometimes you may need a newsletter signup box on frontend. you can do this using expression engine mailing list module. EE commercial version already has this module, so enable it. and use the following code on front end.

{exp:mailinglist:form list="default"}
<p>Join our Mailing List</p>
<p><input type="text" name="email" value="{email}" /></p>
<p><input type="submit" value="submit" /></p>
{/exp:mailinglist:form}

Don’t forget to mention the correct list name.

    • You can do that in different way. The above tag will generate a form with few hidden fields, if you see the html cod, you will see there is a input named “RET” with value current uri, if you put another hidden input manually below this variable with the value as you expected, so value generated by module will be overwritten by your value. Hope this will be helpful.
